You can make money online.
I have learnt this fact through years of experience trying to do so.
However, whilst this industry is saturated with scammers, it is also
full of time wasters. These are people, or companies, that make you work
your fingers to the bone for very little in return. Don't fall into
this trap, you should be paid fairly for the work that you do online,
just as in any 'real' job. I am going to show you 5 techniques that you
can use to make money online,
not millions, and you probably won't be able to quit your 9 to 5,
however, you should be able to gain some extra cash from the methods
shown below...
1 - HubPages.com
Yes
I know, this one is slightly biased as, in case you hadn't noticed, you
are currently reading this article on HubPages. I'm encapsulating most
article submission websites under this banner, however, I find HubPages
is head and shoulders above the rest of these websites in terms of
creating a residual income for yourself. Firstly, the HubPages interface
is incredibly simple and easy to use, allowing you to churn out money making
articles daily. Secondly, a warm and accepting community of passionate
writers, for many of whom HubPages is their main source of income, are
there to help whenever you have a question. Finally, good quality Hubs
rate highly on search engines very quickly, meaning targeted traffic and
more cash! Overall, this really is a fun way to earn online that can
perhaps, with time and patience, make you a lot of money.
2 - SliceThePie.com
Here's one for all you music lovers! SliceThePie
is basically a paid review website with a twist. Rather than a normal
and somewhat boring product review, you rate and comment on songs to
help artists improve their work. The best part of this system is that
the better you are at judging these songs, the more you get paid per
review! However, whilst SliceThePie is perhaps more amusing than writing
articles, it definitely won't earn you as much money in the long run
and is more of a spare time pursuit.
3 - Ebay.com
Ok, most of you know about this one, but I have made tens of thousands of pounds using Ebay,
and I encourage you to utilize this amazingly massive marketplace just
like I have. Many people use Ebay to sell old and unused things that are
lying around their house, and this is a great place to start! However, I
suggest (because this is how I make money
with Ebay) that you choose a product, for example video games, and
trawl the internet looking for deals on these games. Once you have found
a great offer, exploit it and sell the games on Ebay for much more.
This allows you to cut out the middle man and post the games straight to
the buyer from the website that you found the deals on, making you a
nice profit without moving from your chair. Ebay is great, and often
overlooked undeservedly, but watch out for the fees which can sometimes
take chunks out of your profits.
4 - Swagbucks.com
Swagbucks is an umbrella style website in terms of earning cash and I use it frequently to add a little extra to my online income.
Swagbucks is great compared to most of its rival websites mainly
because of its variety of earning methods. You make your Swagbucks by
searching the web, playing games, watching T.V, taking part in daily
polls as well as completing offers, surveys and tasks. This virtual
currency can then be used in the Swag Store to buy almost anything you
can think of, including a straight swap for real cash!
5 - Your hobbies and interests
Number
5 is a bit of a wildcard, a mixture of websites that you can make cash
from simply by pursuing your own hobbies and interests:
- IStockPhoto.com (and many other stock photography sites) allow you sell your photos on the web, and every time someone buys one you earn cash!
- Etsy.com is a great website for those of you who really love arts and crafts and want to make some extra money selling your creations.
- Fiverr.com isn't really a hobby, but it is quite interesting and allows you to either pay someone $5 to do something for you, or be paid $5 to do something for someone else.
Of
course, there are thousands of possibilities when it comes to making
money online and none of them are exactly easy. However, once you find
the right niche, earning cash on the Internet can become a great
secondary or primary source of income.
